Estonian Geography

The Landscapes of Estonia

Estonia’s geography primarily consists of low, flat land close to sea level (Moen). The country has 2,357 miles of coastline (Moen). The country also has about 1,500 islands (Moen). The largest of these is Saaremaa, which measures 2,673 km² and is especially popular with tourists (Sen Nag). The highest point in the country is the Munamagi, which rises to 1,042 feet in elevation (Moen). The country also has over 1,400 lakes, the largest of which being the Peipus and Pskov, which the country shares with Russia (Moen).
